The accompanying cd, is an exquisite soundtrack including sounds of
– the Greek nature, during the four seasons
– Ancient music instruments, such as harp, flute, cymbals etc
– Pythagora’s «harmony of the spheres»
– Exclamations “evoi-evan”, meaning in ancient Greek “be healthy” or “be happy”, whereas today it means “cheers”
All these preface and surround the only rescued musical composition of Seikilos, from 200 b.C., which was found curved on a marble tombstone.
